HemoBioTech, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company developing HemoTech™, potentially the first viable substitute for human blood for the broad blood use market.

The company’s core product HemoTech™ is a bovine-hemoglobin (Hb) based human blood substitute capable of replacing red blood cells in the human body.

HemoBioTech, Inc. has an exclusive worldwide license for HemoTech™ from Texas Tech University Health Science Center at Lubbock.

At HemoBioTech, Inc., our goal is to address an increasing demand for a safe and inexpensive human blood substitute product in the United States and around the world through our licensed technology.


Corporate History

HemoBioTech, Inc., a Texas corporation, was founded as a Texas corporation in 2001, and merged with HemoBioTech, Inc., a Delaware corporation, in 2003.

The Company Mission is to commercialize its product, HemoTech™. Earlier, HemoTech™ was tested in clinical studies conducted overseas before being licensed to HemoBioTech, Inc. HemoBioTech, Inc. is now primarily engaged in the further development and commercialization of HemoTech™.
